Why People Are Just Too Stupid for Democracy
I hate politics. Now I have science on my side. It’s easily apparent that people are frequently delusional about their own intelligence, now a study shows that it’s not just their own character they’re mistaken about, but that of others too. This of course means that people are wholly incapable of selecting the best person to be a leader which in turn leads to mediocre policies and governments.
On the plus side, everyone seems to be able to agree who the worst people are.
Intuition & Politics
- Intuition and common sense should be enough to have people steer clear of voting for greedy/self-pleasing devils like Romney, Santorum, and Gingrich.
- I feel like this is High School. Vote for the popular, spoiled brats who have horrible character, instead of for a person with good morals, good character like Ron Paul.
- Ron Paul is the only one of the Republican candidates who cares about the people and the freedom of this country. He's not flashy or superficial (romney). He's not trying to force religious beliefs (santorum) on this nation. He doesn't have absurd ideas of living on a moon (gingrich) when really what needs focus is our economy.
- Ron Paul just wants all people to live equally. Unlike Romney who behind the back of hard working Americans tweeks tax laws to benefit himself and other greedy people like himself.
- If only we had a nation with more intelligent people..... we would have Ron Paul as president and this recession would end.
When you point your finger, 10 people point back. Everyone makes bad decisions sometimes.
